We invite you to participate in an international summer training program on traditional ecological Russian-Ukrainian agriculture farming in the summer of 2010!

International Summer Educational Program is designed for foreign students and all interested persons, to study life, culture, technology, agriculture, the Russian-Ukrainian village, as well as improve their knowledge and skills in agriculture and the Russian language (if you want a candidate).
Since 2005, citizens of the EU, USA, Canada, Norway, Japan and Switzerland may come to Ukraine without visas for up to 90 days. That is why the organizers decided to undertake a joint Russian-Ukrainian project of the International Summer Course in the usual Ukrainian village Veresoch Chernigov region (Ukraine).

Program short two-week international Summer School:

This program offers training in organic Russian-Ukrainian agriculture in the summer months. This course offers theoretical training (12 hours), practice (60 hours or more), studying the Russian language (on request), accommodation in a traditional Ukrainian house, 3-time traditional Ukrainian food.

Cultural opportunities
In addition to the practical and theoretical training, program participants will learn about daily life in Ukraine, acquire new friends and get acquainted with the Ukrainian and Russian culture.

Education will conduct our experts:
Ludmila Zhirina have defended the dissertation at Tartu, Estonia in 1986. She is Doctor in Biology, PhD, lecturer, professor of Bryansk State University since 1980. Ludmila Zhirina is the director of non-governmental organization Viola since 1992. NGO Viola has activity in the Centre part of Russia. NGO Viola has Awards 1996/1997 Henry Ford European Conservation. Ludmila Zhirina have published 123 articles, organized 6 international ecology conferences, have taken part in 60 conferences, she is a member of SBSTTA / UNEP, CBD, Public Chamber RF. NGO Viola are member of scientific programs with Europarliament, EECONET, GENET, USAID, IPEN, the adviser of programs with the organizations of Europe, the USA, Australia and Southern Africa. The members of NGO Viola has international programs in organic agriculture from 1995. Dr. Ludmila Zhirina, Dr. Alla Lemehova, Dr. Evgenii Shmelev, Dr. Albina Samsonova, graduate Ganna Shutenko and 6 other members of the Viola were trained in organic agriculture in the U.S.A., France, South Africa, Russia, on the basis of major international centers.

Ganna Shutenko is Specialist Degree in Ecology. Research direction to write diploma of title: Biotopical distribution of earthworms in Bryansk forest. Ganna Shutenko has professional experience in SPARE-School Project for Application of Resources and Energy, Earth Day Network and Living Earth Gatherings. From 2005 Ganna is a volunteer of non-governmental organization Viola and Provincial Women in Russia. She is the director of young groups of these NGOs. She was the participant of three scientist conference (Bryansk, Russia, 2007; Voronezh, Russia, 2007; Chernigov, Ukraine, 2007). She is the Member of CoBiD UREKA Summer Research Program for Undergraduate Students in Dublin, Ireland, funded by an undergraduate scholarship from Science Foundation Ireland. She worked on the project: "Earthworms in The National Botanic Gardens". Ganna Shutenko is coordinator of the mini-farm of earthworms in the schools of the Bryansk region.

After the short two-week international Summer School receive a certificate of the Environmental Science NGO Viola, who works in the scientific group, SBSTTA UNESCO.
